ATTENTION ALL CURRENT MILITARY PERSONAL, i need advice!?

I have about 10 months to make a decision on which branch i would like to serve 4 to 6 years in. I'm a female so combat related jobs are out of the question. i'm 5'3 and about 105 pounds but my weight doesnt mean anything. i grew up a farm girl so i can lift and carry more than ppl think i can. i earned a 60 on the ASVAB. So far i'm leaning towards the Air Force Security Forces. Can anyone give me a reason why i shouldn't do security forces? If so, suggust a branch and MOS that you favor or are currently doing? It would be a plus if you are in security forces but if not give me some useful advice.

Please don't go ranting why so-so branch is better than the other. i'm in critical need to get some hard-core info. Much obigied.ATTENTION ALL CURRENT MILITARY PERSONAL, i need advice!?
If you score a 60 on the asvab you need to stay in school until you can can get 70. Security force are nothing more than just an over glorified security guard. To get a decent school you need at least 70. The military needs peolpe to do shitty job just as much as they need infantry. So they call it something fancy. So you can spend the next 4 years doing guard duty and went you finish you time you will not be able to get a job. Military training means very little to cilvians companies.

Go to school for 1 more year. Take algebra and some english class and then you might can get medical equipment repair school or something like that. If you go in as a rock you will leave that way.ATTENTION ALL CURRENT MILITARY PERSONAL, i need advice!?
Don't worry about what others think/recommend when they don't even know you. Do what you want that will help you in the civilian world. If you want to be a cop then go security forces, if you want to work with money/banking then work in finance, etc. Find something that will give you OJT on the civilian job that you want later. Don't settle for a dead end job that doesn't translate to anything in the civilian sector because you will have wasted 4-6 years and be starting all over again.
I spent a year in Iraq pulling guard duty with AFSF guys and gals a lot. Their deployments were only 6 months long compared to my 1 year. They appeared to have the most laid back job ever. I hear AF basic training is easy, but I can't say for sure. If your a tough farm gal like my girlfriend is, you'll be fine. I'm a city boy, but country gals make me melt. lol I think you've got your sights set on a good MOS. Good luck!
If you scored a 60 on the ASVAB all branches are open to you. I am partial to the Navy for personal reasons, but all the branches are excellent. If you're looking at Security Forces, which could be an excellent direction for you, you can do it in any branch. It will also prepare you for a Law Enforcement job in civilian life when you're out.

Military Police, 31B, is a good MOS and one that requires a lot of good training. It's practical and can be very rewarding too.

It sounds like you are already leaning towards Security Forces and I wouldn't want to steer you away from where your heart and mind are headed.

Air Force has excellent Security Forces and a few MOS's to choose from, it also may require some traveling. In the Navy you may travel a lot, same with Marines and Army.

Follow your heart and mind, but ask the recruiter questions. The only bad question is the one you fail to ask before signing your contract.

Thank you for wanting to serve and best of luck to you, you'll do just fine no matter what branch you select.
Do the air force, but dont do security forces. you got a 60 so you can get a better job than that.
