got 2 positives on regular tests. than a whole buncha negatives! FINALLY got my internet cheapies which measure 10mlu tested with fmu and another negative. going to lab for quantative blood test today. then have to go back friday to re-test. what are the chances i could still show a positive? has this happened to anyone????

I hate to say this, but it sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Most people weren't aware that these existed until started testing early. What happens is, the fertilized egg starts to implant and releases a little bit of hCG, but then it doesn't implant entirely and is later passed with the lining of your uterus. Most women will get their period on time, or a day or so late, and never know that they were technically pregnant. But women who test early for pregnancy may catch the small fluctuation in hCG and then have that followed by negative tests, and a regular period. This is very common. You can google ';chemical pregnancy'; for more information, but that's what it sounds like to me. Also, this doesn't count as a miscarriage, and has no bearing on whether or not you'll be able to carry a future child, so try not to worry. Look at it this way, you and your DH have figured out your timing!! Good Luck!
