Whats your tip's/advice for losing weight from personal experience?

got 4 stone to lose to be my ideal weight, i use the treadmill 5 times a week 30 - 50 mins,


do 100 sit ups and i'm counting the calories.

You sound like you are doing all the right stuff it will just take time.


my tip is after every meal brush your teeth or use mouthwash as that will stop you snacking in between meals as it will taste disgusting.

I would say that you should join a slimming club as they're usually qutie inexpensive and the support and successes of the other members often spurn you on.





Also, I would try to not count calories as that usually makes you lose the weight but then you put it all back on once you stop counting. You should see this weight loss as a healthy lifestyle not a diet. Therefore giving yourself a few treats as that's more practical than starving yourself of them.

ok. if you have 4 stone to lose doing 500 sit ups isn't going to do you any good. basically you're toning the abs underneath the excess weight - so you're not going to see any results form doing this. treadmill is good - try doing intervals on it - like walk for 2 mins then run for 30 secs %26amp; repeat. i would highly recommend a class called body pump (google it) - you will see big results with this - fastest results I've ever come across. make sure that you are drinkng 2litres of water everyday. stick to 1500kcals per day too %26amp; incorporate multivitamins if you are cutting back. My biggest tip would be - set yourself small targets rather than saying 'i want to lose 4stone' - say 'i want to lose half a stone from what I am just now before the 23rd of june' for example. always make sure that you reward yourself when you reach the targets - like buy a pair of shoes you like, or get a massage when you reach the targets - it motivates you :)

Drink plenty of water,eat lots of fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables,also include some lean meat such as turkey and also fish is a great source of protein.


Exercise is a must at least 4 times a week and getting your heart rate up in the cardio is a must for me,but also any exercise is effective even just taking an extra walk will help.Pilates is also a great form exercise for toning.
