Im thinking of taking out a personal loan to help pay off some debts and stuff like that...I need some advice.

I need to take out a persona loan of about $5000 to $7500...the catch is, I know nothing about doing that kind of thing. Can anyone tell me anything I need to know about how to get a loan and how to know if Im getting a good deal. I would also need as much time as possible to pay it back, how do I work that out. Could you recommend anyone to me or at least guide me in the right direction?Im thinking of taking out a personal loan to help pay off some debts and stuff like that...I need some advice.
It would be a wise idea to do a credit check on yourself first to clear up any concerns before hand. Law states that you are allowed one free credit check per year by the three major credit entities --%26gt; Equifax http://www.equifax.com Experian http://www.experian.com %26amp; Transunion http://www.transunion.com

Give yourself one to two months after clearing up any ';questionable'; items on your report, if you needed to in the first place. Then go in for the loan.

I would go to your bank to inquire about a personal loan first... but they may have a cap on what you can borrow (for example, $4000 and looks like you're needing up to $7500).

Citifinancial may have a local branch in your area (check them out and see if there is one near you --%26gt; http://www.switchboard.com

Just walk in with a copy of your latest paystub, a list of all your monthly debts and what you owe. If you don't have a branch near you, then call them or visit their websites:

Beneficial is another place... very similar to Citifinancial.
